Yellowstone's wolf packs—Carnelian Creek Pack

1005F and 1049F from the Phantom Lake pack dispersed and joined up with the lone male 1200M from the Cougar Creek Pack in late 2019 after harvest split up the Phantom Lake Pack. In May of 2020, 1049F was found dead, the probable cause of death being other wolves. 1005F and 1200M travel in traditional Phantom Lake territory. They have produced 6pups this year, 4 gray and 2 black.
